300 ZX Fuel Injectors???
I have a 1995 Maxima SE Auto with the S/C fitted. I want to go down to a smaller pulley and was wondering if I should install 300ZX Fuel injectors like I have seen some people do. Also, I was wondering where I would obtain the fuel injectors, if they are difficult to install, and what other mods would have to be done to accomodate the new injectors(ECU??)? I know Jim Wolf does ECU upgrades, but I live in Rapid City, SD so it is a little hard for me to go get personal tuning done. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

First question is why? If you just want to spend money and add mods without a reason. Then you are just wasting money and probably will make your car slower.
If you know your car is starving for fuel, because it's running lean. You need to figure out if it's the fuel pump, the fuel rails or the injectors that are your bottle neck. Upgrade the correct parts will solve your problem.
SC kit should come with a Vortech pump so you are good there.
Ok...assume you know what the problem is and and it's the injectors...
To use 300ZX fuel injectors, you need either some ECU retuning or Apexi Super AFC with some Dyno tunning.
You won't able to just use 300ZX fuel injectors by themself. You car will just end up running rich and cause your car to stall.
Your car with S/C should be fine running with the stock injectors. If you think you are running lean, try an adjustable fuel pressure regulator first.
If you have no idea what I'm talking about, then you don't need the fuel injectors.

no you don't have to go with different injectors
If your running lean go with a fuel controller(fields or apex) and the 10 to 1 fmu calibration kit. Put it on the dyno with an air/fuel meter. Dial it in at about 12.2 to one during upper boost range and you'll be set.
I've used the 3.48 pulley with just the fuel controller and made great power 267hp.

I think JWT has the ecu program for the 300z injectors with s/c
I30KRAB had it done and if I remember correctly, they were saving it for future max owners. You might want to email him or call JWT.

you can buy 300ZX injectors from JWT at 120 a piece i think. They have a turbo program for use with 300ZX injectors but i dont know if they do it for Supercharger...
Forget about injectors, where are the ebrake boots?
