I was just wondering if anyone has installed the high wattage headlight wire harness on a 99se. I know that the car comes stock with a 80/100 watt harness and I have had no problems for over a year. But I want to know if anyone installed it and noticed a difference in the brightness of their lights. Is it worth buying??

 

I think thats a good question. I always wondered the same. Im told that it does, but never new anyone personaly who had it. If you take a look at Canmax.com they've got a little section that tells you about upgrades and there benefits. The harness is listed on there....

 

I used to have overwattage bulbs (80/100 watts) on my 99 I30. I still have the stock harness on, nothing happened yet, I've had them on for 8 months now. I think Solaris bulbs are the brightest in the sense of bluish/white. I now have HIDs -=) Matched HIDs with Piaa super plasma H3's. Looks nice, no yellow.
