5 speed transmission question

5 speed transmission question
I was under the impression that all 4th gen manual transmissions were identical, but when I do a car parts search (http://www.car-part.com/) it breaks manual transmissions with LSD for a 1995 Maxima into two categories: prior to 12/94 and after 1/95. The production date for my car is 10/94, so I'm a bit leery about ordering a later model transmission (with fewer miles on it) for my car.
Anybody know anything for sure? If they're not identical, at least are they interchangeable?
Thanks!

There are two types of 5-speed tranny's for our cars. One was the non-locking differential that came on the Maxima's, and the optional LSD that came on the i30's. The Maxima's did not have this option. The transmissions are both interchangable however and either one you choose will bolt up 100% fine.
