Will silicon hoses leach silicon?

I was just looking at some of the nice work some members have done with silcon hoses to dress up their engines. We test our motor oil and atf to monitor the buildup of contaminants such as silicon. Will silicon leach out of the silicon hose and contaminate the air, oil, water, antifreeze, etc that these hoses might be carrying. I know we have to be careful when we use silicon based gasket materials. I looked through search, got 11 hits but no discussion on silicon migration. Any input would be appreciated!
Be well!!!!
