Best Performance mods.....

Hi, I have a 1995 Se-L 5spd and I wanted to know what were the best performance mods that I could do for a some what decent price(not too expensive)..What intake would be the best for me, one where I would not lose and low end power...also what type of exhaust,y pipe, cat should i get to help my Max, and if you know where i could get any of these mods or any others mods that will help me for a good price let me know...Any help would be greatly appreciated

Here's some suggestions.

Performance:

1) JDM Variable Intake Manifold (find Mr. Cranman on this board)
2) Jim Wolf Technology ECU (www.cattmanperformance.com)
3) Y-Pipe (www.warpspeedperformance.com)
4) Either a cold air intake or pop charger (www.warpspeedperformance.com or www.cattmanperformance.com)

Handling:

If on a budget go with a set of Sprints on some KYB AGX's.
If the sky's the limit, find Chebosto and get a set of JIC coilovers.

Hope that helps.

Build a pop charger or hybrid intake yourself. My friend did his own pop charger and spent like $30(not including the cone filter). Just run a search and see if you can get pics of each so you will have an idea of where to start. Once I get some extra cash and time I am going to probably build my own hybrid(depending on how much extra cash I have I might just buy one).

the hybrid intake comes with a foam filter and foam filters are known to break down over time causing them to be sucked in to the engine and causing more dammage in the long run than a cotton filter ever will. but which intake gives more power the pop intake, hybrid, or a CAI?

Actually the hybrid intake is the same thing as pop charger except it has the extension of a CAI coming from the TB, and ALSO you can use a K&N COTTON cone filter. The only difference is the hybrid keeps most of the low end that you would normaly lose from a pop charger. Based on what I have read, the hybrid is the best of all three. But I think that is a matter of opinion.

SE-L's were only available in 99 I believe, so if you have a 95, you don't have an SE-L
