Best Material for clearing Tail Lights

I did a search but could not find a thread containing what material is best for clearing tails other than the Home Depot Flourescent Lighting Fixtures.

I hear of people finding better matches than the ones at Home depot...can anyone share those finds?

I like my clear tails but wish they were more like the stock clears.

I've been pondering this as well, so here's a neighborly bump.

the florecent sheets from HD work as well as anything else i've seen. i did mine a while back and i have got tons of compliments... and for those who didn't know Max's had that ugly yellow insert, they thought the clear was stock. so unless you get close up on the lense, it is difficult to tell the difference if you have done a good job. just my $.02

magic... really though, i used a really hot hair dryer to heat and bend the plastic so it fit teh curve of the lense. and then just for a bit of security, i used a small amount of clear silicone to hold it down.
