Antenna is stuck

My Antenna is Stuck. I could hear the motor working but the antenna won't move up or down. Do I have to replace the whole antenna or can I replace the mast?? anyone has instruction or web site??

I had the same problem. The mast is probably bent. I think you can get a mast at your local pepboys. The noise can be really annoying. What you can do until you fix the problem is disconnect the power to the antennae motor. If you look in the trunk where the car jack compartment is you can disconnect the wires that connect to the motor. That way no more grinding noise.Hope this helps.

just swap the mast, the teeth on it probably wore out or something. to change it all you have to do is take the antenna nut off on top. turn on the radio and the antenna should come right out(in your case you might have to pull it out)
