jus now backspacing becomes ever more critical, it would be suggested that u call or go to a reputable wheel and tire dealer that deals with aftermarket, specifically oversized, wheels. but 20's will fit, jus don't slam ur max too far and u'll have to deal with the more than occasional tire rub...

 

Nobody makes a tire that is the correct size for 20s on a Maxima, so if you get 20s, you will have to use really large tires (taller than stock).

 

I was thinking of doing the same thing but i was told that it could possibly rub under the spring perches of the struts. Due to the only avialable tire for 20" rims would be considerably larger than the overall stock diameter of a stock tires for a maxima. They say it would be about an inch larger on the overall diameter. But you can go ahead and try and let me know. I'll sell my 18" in a instant if 20" fit in a Maxima 4th generation.

 

Yep you can, Because I have 20's on my I30 which shares the suspension and basic shape as the Maxima. The only thing is that the overall diameter will be larger than stock. And oh yeah, they're really heavy! I don't care about that because I'm primarily going for looks

 

I like the fact that "I30CEFIRO" has managed to get size 255 tires on there...

Would size 255 fit all Maximas without rubbing given the right offset?
