So this afternoon my friend and I took out my car and on this straight away I was going to try and get it up to 120. Now prior to this the fastest i've gotten my 1995 gxe auto up to was 108, but I had plenty of room so I was going for it I got up to 116 adn then the car jerked and the RPMs dropped..... I was like "what the f*ck?" and at 114 it kicke back on. So i'm guessing that I have one of the GXE's with a govenor. Now I guess i'm going to have to look into removing the govenor or getting a new ECU. Just figured I'd share with you guys.

PS - Don't respond to this message with anything like "its stupid to go that fast" or "you could hurt yourself and others" because where I did this was a dead open straight away with no other cars around me. Don't worry, i'm smart about being stupid.

It's stupid to go that fast without first reading the FAQ and disabling your top speed limiter.
