My foglights keep blowing the fuse. I have the 55watt bulbs in the lights. But when ever you turn them on only one light will work. If you tap on the light it cuts on. When you drive down the road and hit a bump they cut off and blow the fuse. I have change the light bulbs and it still does it. Hase anyone hade this problem. HELP.

are you referring to your stock fogs or your aftermarket ones? either way, it's probably just a bad connection or you fried your harness.

It is my stock fogs. How can you tell if the wires are fried. The left side will work with no problem. The right side is always giving me problems and buning the fuse out.

hmm... it could be anywhere along that particular wire - where the rubber scratched off and is contacting some metal part making the fuse burn out. see if the bulb connection to the harness is good.

Should I bypass the connection at the wire harness that plugs into the fog light houseing, and just run a wire from the end of the connection to the light itself? Does that make any sence.

You should also go see how much a new harness is since it seems like a problem with the wires, not the bulbs.

As long as we're on the subject of stock fog lights, i've been having some trouble with mine. I recently switched to xenon bulbs and my fog light bulbs have burned out many times. I replaced them with a different brand of xenon, but they still blew in like a week.
The 9004's have been fine, but the h3 fogs suck....does anyone else have this problem? Or does anyone know better h3 bulbs because even with the xenon bubls the stock fogs still look dullish.
