Hey there all...just wondering if 3m tape will take paint off the car.

 

what kind? magic tape or double sided? I don't think any of it will.

 

You could always use adhesive remover to take it off. I used something from home depot called R1-remover (i think). I had to use it to redo the adhesive on my roof rack (truck). Just make sure you wash it off and probably a good idea to wax the area.

speaking of which, how many of you hold up sideskirts with screws AND tape?

 

as of now mine is held up by tape/screws(on the ends) but once i get new paint they will be rivited in the whole way down in the door sills.

i only have screws on the ends and 3m tape along the door sills. Holds like crap and cant wait to get the new paint/rivits on.
