another, konig tantrum question
another, konig tantrum question
for 17 inches. are these rims pretty light compared to many other rims for the same price. im lookin and i like the style. but i dont know about the quality. some people tell me they are bad quality. who evers got them should know. thanks a lot
well, according to some website, its supposedly around 19lbs. Other people make knock-offs of these rims i think (a company called "Motegi"). Who knows, there might be more companies who make almost exact replicas of the Tantrum style. Not sure if they are the same quality, etc.
Although I wish I have gotten 18's just to make it slightly bigger, but oh well. Even 19's would be cooler, but THEY ARE WAY TOO EXPENSIVE and I wouldn't be able to survive in Boston with those rims. So maybe I'll change rims and get 18's in a year or so. As far as quality, I think they're great. I don't have any problems with my rims. Get 'em. And if u want them bigger, get 18's!

well, if motegi's are cheaper, than get it i guess... According to the wheel weight database... a 17x7 Konig Tantrum weighs 19.2lbs... a 17x7 Motegi MR-7 WEIGHS 24.5 lbs. So you make the decision on whether you want heavier rims by paying a little less or pay a little more for lighter rims. It's your call on your budget and what kind of car setup u want. Just FYI.
