Cannot start car

I was wondering someone could help me.
I tried to start my car and nothing happens.
I have juice from the battery(lights work, power windows open\close)
When I got me car towed, the guy mentioned it was either the starter or the alarm.
I have the factory alarm.
Has this happened to anyone before?
I was hoping someone out there has some insight for me.

I have a 96 GXE. Does the starter need to be replaced that quickly?
How much does one go for?

yes sometimes they do have it checked out though. does it take a while for the car to start up and or crank over? also the starter costs me between $100-150 (@ Nissan) from what i reemember but they also charge you a core charge once you get back when you return the old starter.

My car took a while to start a couple of times.
I'll call the dealer tomorrow.

Thanks for the insight. I do appreciate it

I know that for a fact cause Nissan tried to get me to pay for a TPS switch or which was a throddle positioning switch which was way off. My car was bucking due to the POS Hobs switch for my Supercharger that Stealin gave me with the kit so they told me that my car was bucking cause of this thing which was BS. So al in all i took out the fuel pump Hobs switch and the car ran perfectly fine. Shows your how much dealerships know

It could either be your starter but if it takes a couple tries to start it might be your ignition switch...my max wouldnt start so i replaced the ignition switch and its all good now...The ignition swtitch failure is pretty common for 95-96 maximas and it only costed 75 dollars installed and takes abou 30 mins to do..hope this helps
