What is causing this wierd window malfunction?

For the past month or so I've noticed that when I lower the windows with the keyless entry before getting in the passenger side window doesn't go all the way down. It stops with about two inches of the window still sticking up and I can't get it down. It happens very randomly, there is no pattern to the malfunction. It also happens sometimes if I lower the windows from within the car, so its not the keyless entry's fault. What's goin' on here? I don't think the motor is broken or anything, because it works fine about 75% of the time. Any ideas? Thanks!

It sounds like your window relay is going bad. I'd replace it if I were you.

Where is the relay located? How hard is it to replace?

It's inside your door right near the motor I believe. I don't remember what it looks like but if you want to save yourself the headache of fixin it yourself, it shouldn't cost too ungodly much for a dealership to do it. Another thing is, you could always by the part then that'll give you an idea of what it looks like. But it is definately located inside the door.

Oh yeah, the biggest part is getting your door panel off without breaking it. Otherwise, the relay should be plug and play.
