SES Code 1130????
I need help! about a little over a month ago I installed my Place racing CAI system. The next day my SES light came on. I took it to Nissan and had them run a diagnostic test on my 99 Max. The code came back as "P1130", "Swirl Control Solinoid Valve". The guy at Nissan told me he has never seen a diagnostic reading with that code before. Anyway, Nissan reset the computer and told me that if the SES light comes back on that I'll probably have to replace the part. Well the SES light came back on and Nissan replaced the part. I thought that was the end of my problems when low and behold...THAT DREADED LIGHT CAME BACK ON!! Nissan did another test (the guy at Nissan was cool, he didn't charge me for the multiple visits)and the same code kept coming up as 1130. He told me that it probably has something to do with the intake system. I need help, what am I supposed to do???? Thanks

Disable the Swirl Valve control system. It's only for CA emissions and only operates when your car is cold. After it's warmed up the swirl valves are in the default open position.
Now as far as how to disable and fool the ECU all I can tell you is that I read a thread on here not to long ago in which the guy explained the Swirl Valves and system. I believe it was in a thread about the MEVI manifold.
Sorry to have to tell you this, but search is your friend.
