That sounds like a conversation between me and a friend of mine... until he rode in my car. He then said that I would beat him... from a stop that is.

that thread was quite funny. i love how they think they can smoke us all just because they are biase towards their cars. granite there have been a few V6 accord that i have beat a few maxima's on the org, but much more maxima's have beaten accords. when i was stock i beat a couple of V6 accords. my car is auto and runs a 15.6, i say let them try to find some accords that run times like some of our maxima's do. although i will admitt the new 6speed 240hp accord should be rather interesting. i want to see what it can do

Yeah, I especially can't stand the ones that think they're awesome when mommy and daddy buy them a brand new car on their 17th birthday.

Stock Accords handle better than stock Maximas in the twisties.

Discuss.

The accords are getting nervous thats why their coming out with a new 6 speed 240 hp. Its a comeback to Maximas little sister the new and improved Nissan Altima.

Damn right they do. I owned a 2000 Accord coupe 5 speed before my 97 Max. The Accord, bone stock, will handily outhandle the tree-trunk-rear-axle-havin' Maxima, even with FSTB and RSB. No contest.

These threads really irritate me. The Maxima is a pretty nice car. It's fairly fast for a "family" car, but it ain't a Ferrari. Bringing up certain qualities to suit your argument that it's better than any other car on the road makes you look stupid. Just enjoy it for what it is.

they can argue all they want & think they're lightyears ahead of maximas, when they meet any of us on the road, they'll just go home & hide & keep typin on the internet & say they have 10hp more & a triangle powercurve with vtec.

It's especially funny hearing about how they talk about their VTEC as though it's a S/C or turbo building boost... "When my VTEC hit, i pulled 2 cars"... The reason they didn't mention the Altima is because it spanks them every possible way and will walk them to school 5 times a day and 10 times to church on weekends... They can still be had for for less than a loaded AV6 also... go figure Typical Honda owners... Almost as funny as the guy that claimed his stock CRX (not even Si) spanked a modded 300ZX TT...

Here's what edmunds.com said about the '03 Accord

http://www.edmunds.com/reviews/roadt...3/article.html

But read the part about how the VQ is more fun to drive when floored compared to the Accord's VTEC

Actually ... that's not funny at all.

It's fine if someone wants to go over there and represent themselves. The only person that can represent all of Maxima.org is Jambo.

If that person who signed up as "Maxima.org" starts anything ... Jamie will work with the owners of that site and find out who that person is. And then me and Bill will have a field day with him.

With that new information, this thread is now locked.
