Just went to change the front brake pads and found my left outside CV boot has about a 1/2 inch tear in it.
Any one changed one of these?
level of difficulty?
any special tools requires?

Or it the quicker option to remove the drive shaft assembly and get it fixed at a CV specialist?

and you get a rebuilt hunk of junk that you'll be replacing every 2 yrs unless you order it from the dealer

I had the same problem about 2 weeks ago it's not a very difficult thing to do but its a really dirty job im still tring to get the grease out from underneath my fingernails But if you really wanna save some money go for it.

I'm about to buy 2 CV boot repair kits from Courtesy Nissan when I get paid tommorrow because I just discovered both my front outer boots are torn. Anyone have any experience with these kits? Do they come with grease and if not what kind of grease should I put on the joints? Is there a how-to posted anywhere?
