Parking Brake Question
#1
I recently installed a Motorola StarTac car kit in my maxima. All appeared fine.
Then a week later, I noticed the "BRAKE" like no longer lights up when I pull up on it. The parking brake works, and I know because when I put the car in drive (auto) w/ the brake pulled up, the car doesn't move. So the brake works, just no light indication telling me in the dash.
The BRAKE like does light up on startup when all lights on the dask light up. This happens with or without the phone plugged into the kit.
Anyone got a guess as to why?

yup
yeah, i believe the sensor would be on all the time if it was disconnected. your bulb probobly went out check it yourself before having a mechanic rip you off to replace a bulb. unless your still in warranty then let nissan handle it. i don't think you would have to pay for that because those bulbs are supposed to last a long time

No, I don't. Not a speedaholic like most folks on this board (that's a compliment too) :- )
I've seen some nice modified max in Honolulu, but most are just stock. Mines looks stock too, my goal is to be a sleeper.
