just had a question... u guys think a 96 stock maxima auto GLE could beat an acura integra 94 gsr with aem cai? And what do both cars run stock? thanks.

 

if ur car were a manual, you could take him. i didnt say beat, but it'd be a good race. the auto max will do mid to high 15 second 1/4's and im guessing that the gsr is low 15's and high 14's.

 

When my Max 5sp was stock, I usually beat my friend's GSR by about a car length or two in the 1/4 mile. We ran a few times, and I beat him each time. I don't think a stock auto Max could beat a GSR though.

 

I don't think that you could beat a GSR if your an auto, if you were a manual i'd say go for it but not an auto, get a supercharger then go for it.

I had a friend with a 5spd GSR, and I would inch on him with my auto, couldn't get a car length though. Even if he beats you, it shouldn't be that bad if you can drive your auto. Don't put any money on it though, cause I have also raced my girlfriend's Dads 96 GLE, and the results were about similar to the GSR,(not sure why)

 

i've seen GSR's run at the track..
a 5spd will pull 15.6-15.8
with intake MAYBE .. 15.5 ...

your max stock will run 15.8-15.9 if you launch correctly and manually shift (which i don't recommend doing unless you have to)

so go for it .. if anytin you'll just barely lose .. a carlength at the most ..i'd guess
