Am I the only G4 Max owner w/ 19's?

Every car I see on here is rolling on 17 and 18's. My 19's are for sale and stepping up to 20's. What's the deal?

Not Bragging

I'm not bragging...I'm just wondering why. 19's don't cost much more than 18's. They look better! For an extra $100 to $200 depending on your wheel brand...you can step up. That's all.

Watch you bend your rim and step back to 18s. LOL. If you have a daily driver car then 18s is the best size to go with. But if your car is in garage then put damn 24s who the hell cares

I think 19s look awesome on the max, but there are 4 issues, 1) price, 2) tire selection, 3) performance, 4) wheel selection. 19s will destroy your car's acceleration, there isnt a whole lot of tire selection, and unless you are buying some joker brand rims, they are more than $100-200 more expensive than 18s are. As for the price of 19s, either you get some ghetto chrome bling bling crap brand rims or you pay 3000+ for some nice wheels like Breyton, RH, Volk, etc.

20s look retarded. Personally I'd never drive on 20s unless they came stock on my X5 or something. Nothing I'd ever put on a vehicle, 19 is my limit. To me, 20s and above says bling bling wannabe thug stuff, but if that's what you're into that's cool for you, but its not my thing.

Re: Am I the only G4 Max owner w/ 19's?

So you've got 19"s. I've had 19"s for like 2 years now, everybody's got 19"s. I know of like 6-7 Maximas rolling on 19"s, and that's just off the top of my head. It's a huge car, so 19"s are no big deal. Put 19"s on a Civic/Integra/Celica, and it's hard to do although not really anymore. For 19"s on a Maxima, just bolt them up, nothing special. There are like 5 guys on this board alone with 20"s and a guy with 21"s.

I've seen 20's on Maxima's that are not lowered, and I think they look like a Hummer driving down the road. If you are just into looking good or for show, I think 19's are a better selection. Unless you do some custom work to make those 20's sit nice on the max.

Let's not forget Steve (skimax), who had one of the tightest Maxima's for a while, was rolling on 19" Racing Harts..

No but I do own a few legally transferable and owned machineguns and silencers. They're legal to own in 34 states you know. I'll take my Hk MP5 over a Ypipe any day .

No ego on my side, no point in bragging about 19"s. Just making a point that 19"s aren't a big deal on Maximas at all.

19's

Yeah you may be right. I'm more into the look than the performance. I have an Eibach 1.5 drop and the 19's still look so little. I've fitted 20's off my friends GS400 and they fit perfect. 20X9 and 20X10. And it doesn't look like a 4X4. Sits sweet. I'll post pics as soon as I get them on. I have 19" Dazz Matiz on right now

I'm stitting on 20's and they ride nice for me, had to get some body work done. Car is slower, but thats why I bolt on my slicks for the track, no need for any more street racing tickets. Check out my car domain site of picts
