a few newbish worries :)

Hey,
I have a 97gxe with 99k miles ( >_< ) and there is a slight vibration in the steering wheel when i am at a complete stop. Bad? normal?

Also there is a slight droning sound i am getting from the car when i give it gas.. above 3or3.5k RPM it sounds pretty cool but still i dont know how loud or quiet stock maximas are supposed to be. I've driven other maximas, they sure didnt sound like that

Don't know what to tell you about taht vibration, but...

lots of maximas have that drone/whine on the gas. mine has it. i dont know what it is. my reccomendation: get an intake and the grumble of the intake will overcome the whine

You may want to check your tach to see where your rpms are at while at a stop, the normal range is about 600-800 rpms, if you're below that, you may need to have yoru idle speed adjusted. Also, have you had your throttle body & intake manifolds cleaned or a tune-up performed? If not, those could be the cause for vibraton. The vibration could also mean your engine mounts are wearing out
