Got my warpseed y-pipe installed this morning

I took off from work so I can be the first person in the shop today. It took them like 45 min. to do it. As soon they got done I took it out for a drive and at first not much diff but then I started to feel the diff. and the sound is the sh**. I think warpseed deserves a A+ for the service and quality I ordered the aluminized y-pipe like a week and a half ago and I got it on friday so it was pretty quick.
I can't wait till I tested my car on my friends integra.

Happy to hear that your satisfied with your choice. I ordered mine last thursday and I can't wait to put it on. Does the pipe sound like its stock? I know you won't feel the real power difference until your ECU adjusts to the pipe. Does your car have a louder or deeper growl while you are at idle. I'm just curious as to what to expect. I passed on the budget because i'd rather just have the best product i can get; my max deserves it.

I went to meineke that does performance exhaust in my area it cost me $60 but when they took it off my one pre-cat was melted from outside so I don't know what was goin on plus my transmission was hittin the heat shield all the time so now it feels nice to drive a short stick again.

The pipe sounds grrrrrrrreat it growls real nice like a mustang or something but its way louder then stock but I also have a perfomance muffler and a catalytic converter that's probably make it even louder but I love the sounds together with my cone intake it sounds perfect. At idle it doesn't sound as loud but if you have the AC on it will growl and shake a bit but that's what I like so I love it. My Check Engine just came on today so I guess the ECU will reset itself soon can't wait

Makes me feel a lot better to know that the extra money spent might not have gone to waste. I'll be running a stock exhaust system all the way back with my Y.... I have a Fast Lane Performance intake (hybrid) so with this, i can get my car to breath a little better while on the highway at WOT.

Reset your ecu yourself, and in about a week you will notice a big difference. Your ecu has to "learn" to work more effectively with your new mod. Check the FAQ's if you don't know how to reset it, it's easy.

I did mine this past weekend and my gas milage seems to have gone way down. Is this normal?

Do some high speed testing. You'll notice a huge difference in 60+MPH acceleration. It's like night and day at higher speeds.

When you reset the ECU, it usually takes about a week for the car to learn any new speed mods...well at least it took about a week until my Y pipe made a true difference.

I know when I got mine, I was standing on the gas a bit more than I used to, this is probably the cause of reduced gas mileage.

I would pull the code for the CEL. It might be unrelated to your install or maybe you left a connector undone on the intake install or maybe you didn't put the O2 sensors back in the new Y pipe? Good luck. I just installed my wsp b pipe. What a bitz. It's all good now though. Car feels better in the top end - can't wait to get to the track. I think it will definitely give me another mph or two in my 1/4 mile speed.

I feel it especially in the 3rd gear that is pulling a lot more.

Did you install your B-Pipe after you installed the y-pipe or before and did you think that it was necessary did you feel a difference

I installed my b after and only because the hanger tab on the stock b pipe broke and I didn't like it banging around. My coathanger b pipe fix didn't work long To make the istall easier I replaced the cat as well. The car definitely has more pull now than w/ the y alone. I don't know if that is attributable to the b pipe or the new cat. I'm sure both are factors but I think replacing the cat was the biggest improvement, only because I had 138,000 on the old one. Hope this helps. I love the setup and tone. My exhaust doesn't drone and has a nicer tone at idle. Btw, I got the aluminized mandrel bent b w/ resonator, car-sound cat and a slightly used factory muffler.

What's the difference between getting the B-pipe with the resonator or getting one without ?

I think the resonator just makes it more quiet.

Like bowiemax states; it's supposed to quiet the exhaust. I don't know if it hurts performance at all. I like mine.
