K&N Filter recharger kit. It should include a cleaner and filter oil.

The recharger kit says to clean the filter every 50K miles, or more often if very dirty. I have had my CAI on for 3 years now and haven't cleaned it yet.

Be aware that there are a lot of Maxima MAF sensors failing and the suspected culprit is over-oiling the K&N filters.

You serious? I just cleaned my cai filter in 11 months. but i've had 30k miles on it.. It was very dirty, and I could see no traces of pink. When I oiled it, the pink came back.

This is what it says on the side of the Recharger Filter Care Service Kit #99-5050:

"Service every 50-100,000 miles on street driven applications. Service more often in off-road or heavy dust conditions or when air filter reaches 18" of restriction. Let the dirt "build-up" work for you; it will not hurt the performance and actually help filter the air."
