I have a friend that works at a dealership, he tells me all my parts to do the service will run me $80. The senior Tech there will do the service for $200.

I am guessing that this is a good price. But I wanted some feedback from the Org.

thats a great price....ive seen people get quotoes around $600-800

 

You can do it all yourself. None of the procedures are difficult.

I have several booklet regarding to 60K services from three different dealers. They are all differents. Prices seems similar but some covers this, other covers that..
This dealer covers,
"Drain and refill transfer case" and
"Drain and refill front and rear axles" while other dealers leave them out. Does our Maxima have Transfer case? Isn't it for SUV? Just wondering... How about fluids in front and rear axles? Do we have to replace those fluid every 60k?

Other dealer replaces PCV and fuel filter every 15K miles. Does it really necessary to change that often?
