A Stillen Supercharger =)

well for starters you can begin with the exhaust system. From intake to muffler for better throttle response.

Since the key word is "noticeably"

People with money: Supercharger
People w/out money: Y-Pipe or CAI

Depends on how much you want to spend.

less then $300 = CAI
less then $500 = Y-pipe
$500-$1000 = CAI and Y-pipe
more then $3500 = Supercharger
more then $80000 = Skyline ... hehehe... I WISH!

I have the CAI and I love it, but some people say that the stillen intake is just as good. See if anyone is selling an intake, you can save some $$$.

CAI

the CAI sounds a lot better than the JWT or Stillen intake.

In terms of "faster" I guess that would be an intake or Y-pipe.

But the first mod on a Max should be FSTB, then RSB. Handling is more important in my book.

Wize call Eric. The maxima as it sits is pretty quick. Handling however is terrible. FSTB then rsb then power.

You better be able to deal with the turns when you get to them.

As for power. Y pipe

Eric is right; handling improvements should come first including brakes. Then go faster.

A word about air intake. I installed the Stillen unit but lost power due to sucking hot underhood air. Get a cold air intake. Look for other messages RE the CAI question on this board.
