Just weighed my '95 GXE

It weighed in at a lean 2932 lbs. This is with a full interior and ~1/4 tank of gas. I did remove the spare tire as well as the jack prior to weighing it though. Oh, BTW I'm automatic, and as you should know the automatic trasmissions weigh ~62 lbs more than the standards.

Under 3000 = Not bad at all considering you've taken no steps to permanent weight reduction.

Light weight rims should be here next week. After that.....don't know what's next for weight reduction.

Well there's a lot you can do, but almost everything sacrafices comfort. I hope papsmurf doesn't mind my using his cas as an example, but he's got the only Maxima I know under 2700 lbs. This concerns his car:

The Idle Air Control Valve has been removed along with the EGR system. There is no A/C. No compressor, no evaporator, no catch can, no plumbing. The battery is in the trunk. That is the only thing in the trunk. No spare, no jack, no trunk lid supports, no carpet, no anything. There is no rear deck cover on his car as well as no speaker grills. The plastic splash guards under the car and in the wheel well have been completely removed. The flame blanket under the hood is gone. All remnants of the stock airbox have been removed. Including the one under the battery (in its stock location) All sound dampening has been removed. There aren't even any screws in the dashboard! He always rides on lightweight 16s.
Now that's harcore!

My 96 GXE is 2900 with me in it. No spare, jack, passenger seat, 1/4 tank, CF hood, lightweight rims. That's with the 25lb subframe connectors even.
