it really depends on what you want. If you want a camaro set up or a true duel set up. Do you want one pipe or two pipes from the headers. What kind of materials do you want? All these things will take a toll in the finalprice. Most likely 300 to 1000 or more. The 1000 is more like all custom work from the engine back and whatnot.

i wouldn't mind seeing my max w/dual exhaust. how much for a "true set-up" engine back. 97 max

Probably $300 w/o cats of mufflers. Atleast $400 if you want cats in there and probably double if you want mufflers.

Duals are pretty cool looking, a few 4th gen guys around here have 'em. There really not any more efficient however, and I'm not sure about them on an 87 Maxima. I'm no exhaust expert, but I'm guessing it wouldn't be too cheap. If the look is what you're going for, a regular catback exhaust with split dual pipes would probably work. My 2 cents.

Oh I think it looks awesome on a 4th gen. Max, but on an 87 Max, that might be a little sketchy.

I just got the camaro set up on my max about a week ago. I love it, they put on 3" tips on either side and it sounds awesome. That's what I recomend doing, then get the y-pipe and stuff later. The cat-back with camero muffler, piping and all was 500 custom made. I love it, just my 2 cents

just fyi, Brendan doesn't want it for his max...it's for his friends 97. perhaps his friend should ask his own questions. duals look really cool, but saw that thread bout them making rice sound at highway speeds and don't yield much of an increase in power.

yes

i wonder if you could do duals from the front, and run 2 smaller turbos, instead of 1 big one like on the kits most of the guys have.
