KONI INSTILATION

The inside of the stock strut IS round, it's just that there are some locating tabs that protrude inside near the top of the strut. I couldn't just push the Koni insert in all the way. I pushed it in as far as it would go where the bolt at the bottom just started to stick out through the hole at the bottom of the housing. Then, without using the thick washer at the bottom, put on the nut and cranked down on it to pull the insert down all the way. When done, I removed the nut, put on the thick washer, then re-installed the nut and torqued it to spec.
