headlight conversion?

I know that the BMW E36 headlight conversion is popular in the 3rd gen forum, but the 4th gens have a problem with the fit due to the angle near the grille. Today I saw a Mitsubishi Diamante (97 I think), and the headlight looks the same as an E36 light, but looks like it might fit a 4th gen. Has anyone thought about using those lights before? Do they fit?

I guess no one thought about it... I've seen the S4 conversion, any others?

Have you read this post? I think that the site mentinoed there,

http://www.eden.rutgers.edu/~ferraris/4genmaxima.html

Has a photoshopped pic of it.

I like the idea, and I'd think that if you took the Max light apart and a BMW or a Diamante and cut em and glued em you could make a light that'd fit.

Good to see you back Jack. Could always count on you to search. Haven't seen you in a while.

Thanks Clee! Yeah I've been wondering how many times the old rear window Q has come up... I think it might be overdue!

Since I was gone my Max has been baaaad! Sunroof is broken, radio and CD player messed up, throws odd engine codes on vacation. I had to replace the O2s, but they seem ok now. Not sure I still need this car any more.
