my climate control lights wont all light up now, the red arrow will, but the buttons on the buttom wont, the cold arrow, off, cirulate, vent, econ, buttoms wont light up anymore, is it just a bulb that needs to be replaced?? if so where is is located and is it easy to get to?? does anyone else have this problem?? its not that big of a deal but its hard to c at night

 

more than likely the bulbs are burned out. it really isnt that hrad to take apart and get to just have to take your time and be careful.

 

I just did this a couple months ago in my 97. First of all take the dash apart and slide the big piece (includes radio headunit and ac) out. I took the a/c piece off of this big piece but I am not sure if it was necessary. Just look on the rear side of the a/c and you will see the bulbs. Just a small twist and they will come out. I think they are $1-$2 depending on where you get them. My local dealer did not have them so I ordered them from Courtesy. Good luck.
