Does anyone have any idea of how much it would cost to refinish the black window sills? They're faded, but structurally sound.

Hey, if you find out what works, tell me because mines the same. Just a bit faded, but no structural damage.

Peanut Butter haha

I guess peanut butter and silicone both add oily moisture to the surface which brings back the black finish. But mothers back to black sucks and always made what ever I tried to fix worse.

Beware with armor all and other products

You don't want to use some of them, especially in the sun. I've heard that armor all bleeches the black in the long run. I used to armor the side moldings of my 89 Mazda 626 and now they are all grey. Of course, it you use the armor all, they go back to black, but in the long run, I think they actually ruin the color by fading.
