When I went from 15" to 17" with out a drop the wheel gap looked even worse. It was an illusion or course because I kept the same tire diameter. It still for some reason looked more pronounced.
It should not deter you from getting the 17". We all can't do everything at once.
I am now on Eibach/Tokico and it looks real smooth. To me a Max/I30 with rims and a drop make it look like a whole different car. IMO.
No it will ot look like a 2k2 with 17" wheels.
