Power anttena?

Power anttena?
I just got my new stereo on my car and is working good and all nut the only thing I don't like is that when the stereo is on my anttena is up. My old stock stereo used to put the anttena up only when the radio as on not whe listening to my cd's. Is this supposed to happen with custom stereos?
