actually i looked at that paint and since i have a RC car i realized that goes on the inside of the lens/RC body. i am not sure how well it will do on the outside so i went on the safe side and went with this enamel...

Cut the ground wire for the side light. Splice it into the positive wire for the blinker. Done.

After all this time, has anyone tried this with regular window tint film?

Check out my homepage. I've got pics of my red painted turn signals. The paint has been on there for 4 months now and is still perfect. I used the Testors translucent red paint which you can get from Walmart. This is a lot easier and safer than the film IMO. You simply remove the lamp housing, tape it off, paint it, reinstall. If you want to remove the paint, simply use finger nail polish remover and the paint will come off and won't cloud the plastic of the lense.

I just "redded-out" my tails with stained glass spray paint. After using a million and one different types of spray paint, I took my a$$ to Michaels and got the perfect spray paint. It looks good cause its a little darker than stock color, which gives it that smoked look, and the light shines through perfectly. For $6, its a good mod to do, especially for us 95-96 owners.
