My car is missing the self diagnostics screw

I go to perform my self diagnostic's, and low and behold even though the sticker has never been removed I take it off. I notice that I cant get it to work, so this morning at work I have a friend show me how he test his. Oh wow no wonder it wont work, I dont have a freaking screw there. Anyone else have this problem. I have a 99 se-l does that make a difference.

I have an SE-L also and had to run the diagnostic test recently. It is done the same way as on the other models. The screw on the ECU is labeled 'Idle Speed Adjustment' for some reason, but it will let you get the codes. The thing I got hung up on is that many posts say to use a flathead screwdriver, but on my car it was actually a very small phillips head screw. Once I figured that out it was easy. Hope this helps.
