I have a sage mist green maxima, and i would love to have a light blue max like some of you have. I was just wondering how much it would cost and what color paint you used. Thanx

it depends on the shop and paint you go with. Shadow's car is painted Lexus IS300 Blue and it cost him in the neighborhood of $2000.

The paint job would have been about $6K, but I got a hookup from the shop. I paid for just materials.

Check some of the links listed in the 4th gen FAQs thread.

And blue is an unoriginal color to paint a Maxima.

ditto. i would say look at something like the older q45's metalic dark green. my dad has a 96 Q in that color and I just love it. when it's dark you could swear it's pitch black, when the sun hits it you see a dark emerald green with tiny metalic flecks in it. and it holds up amazingly well.

Any decent paintjob will cost you $3000+. Price will fluctuate if you want things like doorsills, enginebay, underhood, trunk lining etc. painted as well (extra labor).. Price quote may also vary shop to shop. Go with a shop where you can actually see their work.

If you can help it, please go with another color..we've got enough blue maximas around
