So i just took my baby into the shop and im getting my door fixed and some paint scratches on the bumper taken care of. I asked the guys to make my altezzas into skyline style, because i hate all of that chrome. So what do y'all think, white pearl tails that paint match the body. Take that Sexima j/k

I was washing my car... and saw that my front bumper has paint coming off.. my car is black.. and the paint seems to be chipped.. how much will it cost to fix it (size of a golf ball) .. i see that you (slimer) are fixing paint scratches also... so i'm wonderin'.. see if i can bring it to the dealer and let them fix it if it's not an outrageous price...

 

everything is ridiculous. i got the bumper estimated separately for insurance purposes and for both corners it was around 400. for just one corner it wouldve been 275 but the main reason for the price is that i have the tricoat white paint so it was more. ask some of your friends and other people about hteir experiences with shops, cuz i took mine to 5 different shops and this guy undercut ALL of the work by $500. great price

 

I got my front bumper repainted for $325 all said and done. $350 is the normal going rate so anything give or take $50 is a decent deal. If it's the size of a golf ball this is really your only choice. However remember with a black car you paint will not match. Your OEM paint will be sun-faded to a certain extent and the new paint they put on there will not be (duh!).

my scratches on the bumper sucked. i was working out and i came out and saw a 3" scuff mark from someone pulling out of parallel parking. i buffed most if it out, but there were two 1" chips down to the clear coat. on the other corner, i got too drunk one night and let my (sober) friend drive us home in my max and he backed up into a mustang (pos 1988 5.0). i couldnt buff it out, it looked like i could, but with no sucess. then about two months later, i scraped my door up on a pole in a parking lot that i couldn't see because it was only like 2' tall. GRRRRRRR. it gets me really p!$$ed to know that my max has taken this much abuse. i take good care of her, but some things just keep happening. dammit. and i was saving up for a new set of rims too.

 

BUT THERE STILL ALTEZZAS !
