But I was reading a review on this car and...

"Maxima is powered by Nissan’s VQ 30DE, fuel-injected, 3.0-litre V6 engine, which features 24 valves and double overhead camshafts. The engine is lightweight due to all-alloy construction and delivers a hefty 142kW of power at 5600rpm and 278Nm of torque at 4000rpm. Drive is to the front wheels through a very smooth four-speed automatic transmission."

Hey guys, Nice car Rave.

If you guys with 96-97 I30s want clear/red tails. Do them yourself or I'll do them for you for a small fee. I just finished BBaker025's the other day and not a crack or discoloration on them.

I would love to get that touring badge.

Just in defence of my car... I have looked at the rear end of the 3rd gen's and the rear end of my car is far more supreme! Although similar...

It looks much slicker and much smoother lines, much cleaner all up. I will post some close up's of it with good light and you will see what I mean.

I would definately be interested in seeing what the import costs of that front end would be and if it's a straight up bolt on to the front of a 4th gen I30. I would be willing to bet it is the exact same bolt pattern.

Rave one thing you could do for short money is put a grill on the front of that opening under the license plate. You can do it yourself, the biggest cost of that project is the time involved. The rest you can get at a local hardware store and it looks good.

At least that's what I would do if I had that front.....

Maybe we all could order parts at the same time and ship them to one person and he could distribute them. It would heavily cut down on shipping costs. Just an idea tho. Id def be interested in getting front bumper, grill, and maybe even a body kit. I know some others are interested, maybe we can get a group discount or something going with a dealer down there, cause they speak english. I could be dreaming, but it would be sweet if we could get something going.

Exactly what I'm talking about. Mesh the front end under the license plate between the fog lights. That space looks so good with a mesh intertwined in there. Let me see if I can find you some pic examples.

Check the front grill out on this maxima, it'll look kind of like that just in a different place.

Yer I see what you mean now... but I dunno if I like it. Might go and look for some mesh and try it on see if it looks good. I think a silver mesh would maybe look better than paining it body color... what do you reakon?>

Yeah Silver looks best because it compliments the trim on your car. There's a cefiro sport grille that I think would fit on your car too, check out www.cardomain.com/id/i30touring and find what I'm talking about. It'll probably fit your car, it'll all compliment well in the front of your car. It's a horizontal grill on the hood piece rather than vertical, more of a sporty streamlined look.

It's $180 plus shipping, but it's a nice subtle mod that is probably something you're looking for.

You can see my red/clears in my sig pic. Was kind of a pain to do it but well worth it.

I just took off my I30t emblem and would absoultly love to replace it with that badge.

I also like that front end. If it were on a I30 it looks as though we would have to give up the side signal lights and fogs. I don't see a way to incorparate them into that front bumper.
