ABS
Ok, who knows what causes the ABS light to come on? It came on the other day when I started my car and stayed on the entire time I was driving, but then hasn't come on again the past 2 days. I came on again today as I just went out, and on the ice and snow I found it was indeed not working. At first I thought maybe my ABS lines had come loose (they are zip tied in there because the coilovers don't have a good place to mount them) and had worn through, but if that were the case it doesn't seem like the light would come and go... Any other thoughts on what it might be? I know I need to inspect the lines, but it's cold

If you recently had snow and got into a deep drift, the ABS sensor at each wheel that look like a gear can become plugged with snow/ice. Take it to a do-it-yourself car wash and blast away at the wheel area with the high pressure hot water. This will melt the snow that is preventing the ABS sensor from reading wheel revolutions.
Be sure to drive around for a bit right after to allow the water thats left to get flung away or it will just re-freeze and you'll be back to square one.
This happens to me every time i'm to lazy to shovel my driveway in the winter, so its off to the car-wash and my problem is solved.
Hope this helps.
