heating springs to lower car.....good or bad

Hey i got a question.... anyone know about heating ur springs to lower ur car is it good or bad a buddy of mine i s doing it to his beratta and said its ok just some thoughts before i do it and possibly fu%^ up my car.... thanks

I did it to my Silverado, it took 2 days to get it even, and it bumped a bit more. But on the other hand, i got a 3 front-5rear drop for free.

Tell your friend, before he kills himself or others, not to do that. Heating any suspension component to that degree for any reason is foolish and will most likely weaken the steel which is the problem. Springs are cheap.
