Got first maxima, got first troubles, please suggest

Well, got a car recently, it's a metallic tan '96 SE
Nice look, all works fine but the engine.

Knock sensor to be replaced, that's fine. Ordered it.
TPS got problems with that throttle open/closed switch and supposedly with the reostat itself. That's fine, too.
BUT!
I've tried to clean throttle body, which was really dirty and whoops!!... Had a dumb idea to put on that little red plastic tube coming along with a can of carb cleaner spray... Now the tube is inside the intake manifold (where the pressure threw it) and no ideas on how work it out. I can't even see it! And I hope I did'n put it in deeper inside the farest cylinder intake tube. Now thinking about two possible approaches on removing it: (1) putting it a flexible stick with something adhesive on it (what? scotch tape? lots of cleaner stuff inside, though) and (2) using kinda hoover or vacuum cleaner... Any suggestion on now to remove or how to see it at least?

PLEASE HE-E-ELP!!!

Personally, just to make sure I didn't screw anything else up, I'd take off the manifold, then take it out.

Crystal clear but way too laborious... What else can I break in there you think? I guess there's nothing all the way down to the valves, am I right?

You can have the upper intake mainfold off in about 30 minutes. It's not hard.

Honestly, that's the best way. It also allows you to get in there and really clean thinhs up good at the same time.

I'm sorry, but this is kind of funny. I can just picture it happening too.

I think your best bet is to take off the intake manifold and get the thing out. As some have said, you can really get in there and clean it up too while it's off the car.

Good luck!
