i believe you will lose... not by a whole lot... but unless the other guy is a horrible driver, i'm guessing he'll walk you. give it two tries though... from a standstill... and from maybe 30-40 mph. you might be able to hang with him from a roll. g'luck.

Well it was a noble effort....so I will tell you that being an auto you have a chinamans chance of beating him unless you have a few mods(no offense). Save your gas.

Lets see the spec-v runs 7.3 to 60 and 15.6 in the 1/4(according to R&T). The gt-s runs 6.8 to 60 and 15.4 in the 1/4. The problem with the spec-v times are that I have seen them run 15.1's in hot humid wheather here. That is faster than my best, but the car was a little sick...still sick or not it would be close with my 5-spd stock for stock. Did you actually race the gt-s or was he behind you? He should have put your hot dog in a bun and chowed down if you were racing from a dead stop.

ok heres how it went down. I saw him at my school (he's my friend's cousin, so i know him) pulled up to me, and asked me if i wanted to run. of course i said yes. we wwent to a three-lane strip, and raced. It was from a dead stop. He got a good launch and was like half a car ahead. I cought up and slowly passed him. he stayed at my back wheel when it was over. We raced again a second time from a dead stop and same thing happened. i dont know why i won.
