oil problems and stalling
oil problems and stalling
i think i finally figured out why my car is stalling. I replaced my engine cooland sensor, did a throttle body cleaning, new fuel filter, new sparkplugs and nothin....so i noticed today when i started my car i heard lots of clicking and then it was soothe 20 seconds later. it seems like initially the oil isn't getting to the engine. anyone know why?

your engine is just old man, hehe. So you think its that oil thats not getting to the engine and thats why you stall? Hmm ok.. its not the oil its your fuel, your engien sounds like its going to stall because its not getting enough of fuel. Eddie, give me your car one day, I will take it to nissan and do some of my magic to it

The oil weight and filter could have everything to do with the "clicking" on startup. If you're using a filter like a Fram, the oil is probably draining out of it, causing a dry start. If the oil you use is too thick for the temperature it will take longer to flow to the top end of the engine, causing "clicking" as well.
