Look at this "Hybrid" maxima

Hybrid Maxima- 2000 GXE with a 3.0 L engine? Ha ha ha

Nice to know that he really knows his specs.

I also like the 6-speed shifter on a 5 speed Manual transmission...lets hope noone forgets and tries a 5-6 shift...

I'd love to see what would happen when someone not in the know drives the car thinking there is a 6th gear . . . smashes up the tranny, and the guy can't really do anything about it. Imagine trying to sue a guy for breaking the tranny, or damaging the clutch/engine/driveline, because he was mislead by the owner.

Re: Look at this "Hybrid" maxima

Uh, the 2000's DID have a 3.0L motor. This car is a 2002 look-alike with the 2002 taillights and wheels...on a 2000 GXE. And his mods are pretty much a big nitrous shot and all the various gauges/fuel stuff to support. Asking price seems a little high (for a 2000 GXE) but with all the mods, maybe it's worth it.

But I agree a dealer will not honor any warranty on that car once they find out it has nitrous...which they will due to all the gauges, etc.

Don't I feel stupid. I thought that the 2Ks went to the 3.5. Now I feel like a dufus.
