The NGK Laser Platinums (OEM Plug) work the best. This subject has been discussed widely, use search. Consensus is the NGK plugs work best in Maxima's.

NGK makes iridium plugs. I haven’t heard enough about them to justify the cost, though. I would stick with the OEM NGK Platinums.
