ripped on a fully modded lancer tonight. we come up to the light and he starts reving it up. just then his buddy comes up on the other side of me in a hell of nice like 02 eclipse gt. these are nice cars. so the light turns green and we all hit it, the eclipse burned me from the start and i had the same effect on the lancer...slowly i start to pull on the eclipse, but then as if he was waiting for me, he dusted me. it was nice

 

A Lancer? Those things have a whopping 130 hp or something like that.. And why would anyone want to "fully mod" one, if the evo 7 is coming out soon.

As for the Eclipse, I don't see why he would burn you at all, they only have about 200 hp and aren't that fast, especially auto ones ( I don't know which one you raced).

 

first of all, why are you asking me why someone modded their own car whom i dont even know

second of all it doesnt matter if u know why the eclipse beat me or not, it was a story....mine at that, it doesnt matter what you think about it

 

eclipse gt's are about the same weight as a maxima with 200hp and maximas have 190.... its an even race.......but yes, they are pretty quick

 

if you're gonna get all offended when someone says you shouldnt have gotten burned when you did .. dont post your story. you're acting as if people shouldnt post anything thats not 'rock on dude, you rule .. you beat a POS lancer and got beat by a car you probably shouldve taken'. Chill out.

yeah man, you need to chill out. good kill on the lancer, as for the eclipse, they are pretty quick cars and have good power bands. i think an eclipse and an auto max will always be a pretty good race, but the max coming out on top more often, i ran one with my old auto with CAI 96' and had like 2 cars on him.

ok, so in your opinion, could my 99 se AUTO max with y pipe, CAI, and Underdrive pulleys beat a 2000 eclipse GT 5-speed with a damn nopi muffler? I think I'm a slightly better driver than him as well....

 

I think if you were both auto, you would win.. Since he's 5 speed, it all depends on if he can drive or not.. what do you mean you're a slightly better driver than him?
