Crash Test rating?

Crash Test rating?

How is the crash test ratings on the 4th gen. maxima's? I've never really seen this brought up anywhere. Is it good, average, poor?

Try this link. Should have the Maxima crash ratings on it. You can go back a level and look at mid sized cars to compare it.

The '95-'96s were pretty horrible crash-wise especially in the rear bumper area. The '97-'99s were much improved. Check out those links for the real deal.

The only reasons the 95-96 did so poorly was because the seat in the test car came off its track.
Would it happen to every Maxima in a crash? Who knows?

Nissan in general is not a leader in crash safety (infinis included)
