2 metal pipes in front of the engine..

Just curious..

What are the two little metal pipes that run in front of the engine?

I was cleaning my engine area the other day and noticed these pipes were getting a little rusty. Soo.. I said..hmm.. might have to replace those one day.. wonder what they are..and how much it's gonna cost..and if I can do it myself.

Looked in my Haynes manual already. Didn't see them anywhere..

very odd.. anyone have an idea?

Thanks. JP

Tifosi's pic shows em pretty well..T's Engine

I took mine off and the front heat shield and had them powder coated for $20

Ahh cool..so definitely not too hard to remove then.

Maybe I'll put a few layers of high heat paint on em.
