No CEL but power loss

No CEL but power loss

I know i have power loss in my car. First of all, what parts would cause this? I am a 96 se auto. Second, if the CEL isnt on, is it worth a self diagnosis, or would it just not give any numbers. Thanks.

You should know by now that a dead knock sensor will not trip the CEL.

Run the diagnoistic mode and see what codes you get...
