Couple of months ago, when I went to the
Nissan dealer near my house, I saw two 95 Maximas that had lots of miles. One had close to 300,000 miles and the other one had 200,000miles. Both were auto, one was SE and GLE for the other one. The guy who had the 300,000 miles had to travel from IL to TX like every month. I talked to the mechanic and was surprised to find out that both of them still had the original tranny(no rebuilds). Mechanic said that the engine is bullet proof and will last 300,000miles with out anyprobs. Impressive.

401K miles >>>>>>.
Actaully it is backwards I have 104K Miles on my 95 SE, no problems, synthetic oil in the engine every 3000 miles. Always used Premium gas and NGK platinum plugs. Regular maintence and it still runs like it is new. People are suprised that a car with that many miles can be so smooth. I and other peole sometimes think that the engine has died at a stoplight because it idles so smooth. I have to look at the tach just to see that it hasn't died on me.

99,300 and still going strong
Not too much wrong with it. . . Just annoying little things that should be easy to fix but for some reason I can't figure out how. But as far as the engine goes, it seems just as strong as ever. . . The way I am going I should pass the 100K mark sometime in the next month, I still need to decide to do for her. . . Oh well, maybe I like my car a little too much

99120 Looks like I'm about to hit the big 100k plateau
We put 1500 miles on it last week alone (vacation) Car was wonderful. We traveled 468 miles 1 way. Did it in 6 and 1/2 hours with 2 quick stops. What makes that stand out is the fact that we had my wifes 72 yo aunt with us and even my wife never noticed how fast we were driving.

95 mileage
108,000 on my SE. Bought it with 45k. I've replaced the alternator, thermostat, upper clutchline, o2 sensor and starter solenoid under warranty. Just replaced the thermostat again today (see posts on thermostats). I think Nissan has a problem with them. Still runs great. Still enjoying the ride!

Holy sh*t.....
thats how much my dad's 87' Mercury Sable has, about a 129k now. I think its in its last days though, my brother got his Rented-car-neutral-drops-making-pedal-flooring-curb-hopping-tire-burning hands on it, so don't kill your maxima's people.
I got like 92.5k on my 93' now. had to rebuilt the tranny allready. dammit
